Job Description Job Description Premises / General Liability Defense Attorney Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid) Billable Requirement: 1,900 hours annually About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Premises / General Liability Defense Attorney to join our Dallas office in a hybrid capacity. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse caseload involving premises liability, general negligence, and other liability defense matters while collaborating with a supportive and high-performing legal team. Key Responsibilities Handle all aspects of litigation from inception through trial, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation Independently manage a caseload of premises liability and general liability matters Provide strategic legal analysis and develop case strategies aligned with client goals Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, and the court Meet a 1,900 annual billable hour requirement while maintaining high-quality work product  Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in Texas 2–8+ years of experience in premises liability and/or general liability defense (flexible depending on level) Strong litigation skills, including experience taking and defending depositions and drafting motions Trial experience is a plus, but not required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
