Pharmacy Technician

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Shift: (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible extension)

Pay Rate: To be discussed on call

Additional Info:

• CPHT candidate with 2+ years exp
• Tech must be willing to work rotating shifts. Monday through Friday and every 3rd weekend (Sat/Sun)
• They will process new and refill requests, fill, put away orders, answer the phone, restock supplies, place wholesale orders, cover the pickup/drop off windows, etc.
• They will also make bedside deliveries throughout the various buildings using iPads for patient signatures etc.
• Must be nationally certified (CPhT etc.).

Job Description:

• Product preparation, compounding sterile products, and maintaining the pharmacy clean room.
• Documentation of IV admixture and clean room suite sterility testing.
• Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist.
• Inventory management and storage, complete appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and reports.
• Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.
• Maintains inventory and ordering.
• Communicates and acts as liaison between insurance company, patients, providers, and specialty pharmacy team.
• Maintains documentation relative to the job.

Requirement:

• Must have at least 2 year's of relevant experience.
• BLS – AHA.
• Must have active CPHT /PTCB
