Advanced RRT | Registered Respiratory Therapist

Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). This part-time role involves providing respiratory assessment, support, treatment, and diagnostic testing for patients in acute care, emergency, and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency respiratory care, including artificial respiration and assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Monitor patients' physiological responses to therapy, such as vital signs and arterial blood gases, and collaborate with physicians if adverse reactions occur.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling, EKGs, and other diagnostic tests as needed.
• Set up and operate respiratory devices like high flow oxygen systems, BiPAP, mechanical ventilators, and aerosol generators according to treatment protocols.
• Support and educate clinical team members through training and instruction related to respiratory care.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to manage patient care and assist with medical procedures.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and accurately document all care and treatments in written or electronic records.

Education and Experience

• Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Care Program is required.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC.
• State respiratory therapist license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (to be obtained within 90 days of hire).
• Experience in critical care settings is preferred.

Compensation typically starts between the beginning and midpoint of the salary range, with annual incremental increases based on qualifications and experience.
