Make a significant impact supporting students as a School Psychologist in a dynamic high school environment. This full-time contract opportunity starts August 24, 2026, and runs through May 2027, with the possibility of extending into the remainder of the school year. You'll be working onsite with a dedicated team to foster positive student outcomes.
What we’re looking for:
- Current and active School Psychologist licensure and certification in Connecticut
- Experience working in K-12 schools, with preference for high school settings
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills, including expertise in conducting student evaluations and delivering comprehensive PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting
- Excellent communication skills for building relationships with students, staff, and families
- Aptitude for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt to a bustling, diverse school setting
Key responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and educational evaluations to high school students in a timely, thorough manner
- Deliver detailed reports and participate in PPT meetings to inform individual education plans
- Consult with teachers, counselors, families, and staff to address students' academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Support the implementation of intervention strategies and participate in developing positive behavioral supports
- Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with district and state regulations
