Rehabilitation Therapy/Orthopedics - Physical Therapist

Job Title: PT Location: Frederick, Maryland Schedule: 7:00AM - 7:00PM x 3 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate: $46 - $49/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PT for a temporary assignment in Frederick, Maryland. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a PT:

• Evaluate and treat orthopedic patients including post-operative orthopedic patients, total joint replacements, neck and back pain, spine rehabilitation, sports injuries, and general musculoskeletal conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient
• Deliver evidence-based one-on-one care
• Utilize manual therapy techniques when appropriate
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and care
• Document care using EMR
• Collaborate with an experienced rehabilitation team
• Participate in community outreach and wellness initiatives
• Maintain Maryland Physical Therapy license (or eligibility)
• Maintain current American Heart Association BLS certification
