Employment Type: Full-Time
Starting Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Position Summary :

The Janitor/Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of recreational facilities, offices, restrooms, lodging areas, and other assigned buildings. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for military personnel, staff, and visitors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Dust, clean, and disinfect furniture, fixtures, windows, and surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
• Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Clean recreational facilities, meeting rooms, offices, and public areas.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to supervisors.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners.
• Follow proper safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and event setup or breakdown as assigned.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous customer service.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Minimum of one (1) year of professional janitorial or commercial cleaning experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, climbing, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Required Qualifications :

Applicants must :

• Pass a comprehensive background check.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Possess a valid and active Florida Driver's License.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.

Schedule :

• Full-Time Position
• Monday through Friday
• Occasional weekends or holidays may be required.
