Customer Account Analyst I
Orlando, FL | Hybrid | Contract

Comcentric is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Account Analyst I to support OUC, a leading Central Florida utility provider. This is a hybrid contract opportunity based at Reliable Plaza in downtown Orlando, with onsite work expected Tuesday–Thursday.

In this role, you will help ensure accurate, timely billing and service-order completion for approximately 270,000 utility customers. You’ll research and resolve customer-account issues, process adjustments and corrections, investigate billing exceptions, maintain account records, and work across multiple systems to provide accurate customer support.

What you’ll do:

• Research customer accounts, billing questions, payment activity, and service-order issues
• Process adjustments, corrections, credits/debits, account updates, and reconciliation activity
• Investigate billing exceptions and resolve issues involving rates, meter data, usage, payments, or account records
• Review billing statements and supporting documentation for accuracy
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams while documenting actions clearly
• Use Excel and other systems to analyze information, perform calculations, and maintain accurate records

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of higher-order customer service or call-center experience involving account research, payments, billing, or issue resolution
  OR an associate degree plus 4+ years of relevant experience
• Experience handling complex customer accounts—not solely basic inbound calls
• Strong problem-solving, math, attention to detail, and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with utility billing, customer information systems (CIS), Oracle, receivables, or meter/usage data is highly preferred
• Must be local to the Orlando area and able to work onsite Tuesday–Thursday

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Assignment: Approximately 3–6 months

Pay: Up to $29/hour W-2, depending on experience
