Mobile Car Wash Driver - $20/hr base + $7 per car + All Tips Kept By Team | Brooklyn

Join our growing mobile car wash & detailing company in Brooklyn as a Mobile Car Wash Driver! You’ll be the driving force behind delivering convenient, high-quality car wash services directly to customers’ locations across NYC. This energetic role combines safe driving, teamwork, customer service, and hands-on car cleaning. Pay

$20 per hour base + $7 per car completed + customer tips (kept 100% by the team)

Schedule

Full-time, mostly Mon–Sat with flexible hours based on customer bookings and weather. Work is primarily outdoors — on rainy or stormy days customer demand drops significantly and there may be little or no work. You will be notified as early as possible (usually the night before) if operations are closed due to weather. No pay is issued for full days with no work performed.

Holidays: Major holidays off. New York State law does not require private employers to provide paid holiday time off for hourly employees. The team can choose to work on holidays if there is customer demand.

Duties

• Safely operate the company van to travel between customer locations in a timely manner
• Work side-by-side with your Helper to complete 6+ cars per day (exterior waterless wash, interior vacuuming & wipe down, basic detailing)
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Load, unload, and properly maintain all equipment
• Keep the work van clean and organized at all times
• Report any vehicle issues or customer concerns promptly

Requirements

• Valid NY Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Brooklyn-based preferred — must be highly comfortable navigating busy Brooklyn traffic, tight streets, and parking in all NYC boroughs
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Honest, trustworthy, and respectful with all clients’ vehicles and personal belongings at all times (background check required)
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
• Car wash or detailing experience is a plus — full training provided
