Position Objective: The Operations Specialist takes an individual who take pride and ownership in their work and are conscientious, enjoy physical work, driven to interact with others, respond positive to pressure and have an internal drive. This individual will make progress toward goals and are forthright and honest. Exercise sound judgement that support the cooperative's mission and goals and consistently provide outstanding customer service. Occupation Specific Tasks:Safety is the priorityAbility to grade grain, sample grain and storage of grain delivered by customers after being properly trainedMaintain grain grading licenseWork with team to ship and receive grain commoditiesMonitor grain quality and ensure that it meets all standardsAbility to tear down and rebuild equipment after being properly trainedAbility to do written reports on machine activity hourlyWork with team to monitor equipment and troubleshoot equipmentAttention to details and self-pride in a job well doneUnderstand that the team is the face of Centerra Co-opAbility to provide outstanding customer service at all timesPerform other duties as requested by managementPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
