Certified Nursing Assistant / Certified Residential Medication Aide (CNA/CRMA)

MaineGeneral Health's Alzheimer's Care Center in Gardiner provides compassionate, specialized care for individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant / Certified Residential Medication Aide (CNA/CRMA) to join our dedicated team and make a difference every day.

Location: Alzheimer's Care Center, Gardiner Schedule: Part-time (32 hours/week) Shift: Nights

What You'll Do:

• Performs basic patient care activities within the scope of practice. Assists patients with meeting their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs
• Greets patients and visitors. Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls. Calls codes, pages, and overhead announcements as requested
• Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff
• Assists with keeping unit and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly
• Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities and administers medications
• Distributes medications to residents per physician orders and completes required documentation
• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN

What We're Looking For:

• Active Maine CNA certification.
• Active Maine CRMA certification.
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to work with residents living with memory loss.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
