Job Summary

We are seeking a Press Brake Operator – Sheet Metal I to set up and operate press brake machines to form metal parts according to blueprints and work instructions while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Press Brake Operator: Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal according to blueprints and work orders.
• Saw Operator: Set up and operate industrial saws, including band saws and cold saws.
• Select the appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers and other measuring tools.
• Follow safety procedures, including proper PPE use and machine guarding.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work with production team members to meet quality and production schedules.
• Identify and report material defects, equipment issues, or quality concerns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training is a plus.
• At least 3 years of press brake operation experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using calipers and other measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
