Customer Accounts ManagerThe salary range for this role is $18.00 to $19.00 per hour*. This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.Aaron's Customer Accounts Managers drive the success of our stores by leading the customer accounts department with the primary goal of achieving company standards for collections and lease renewals. This role strategically influences team performance to assist customers in achieving ownership of their merchandise and supports store operations through a wide variety of responsibilities, as directed by the General Manager.The hourly rate and eligibility for performance-based incentive pay are just part of our total compensation package for team members. All locations are open six (6) days per week.Medical, dental and vision insurance.Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Accounts (United States Only)401(k) Plan with contribution matching (United States Only).Employee Assistance Program - Free access to mental health resources, life coaching and more for you and your covered family members.Employee Purchase ProgramSkills for SuccessStrong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to demonstrate empathy and listen attentively.Ability to explain information clearly and handle difficult conversations.Strong leadership, multitasking, organizational, and negotiation/persuasion skills.Uphold the Aaron's Brand and protect company assets.Shares a passion for making a real difference in the lives of others and building strong personal connections.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the customer accounts department to set and achieve daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals.Maintain accurate customer account records in the store system, including payment appointments and account history.Build strong customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales.Manage collections and renewals by counseling customers and contacting those with expired or unrenewed agreements by phone or home visits, as required.Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.Loading, appropriately securing product and safely operating the company vehicle.Support General Manager with operational functions which include customer account recommendations and closing lease agreements with customers.Support sales team as needed.Required QualificationsMust be at least 21 years of age for positions within the United States and at least 18 years of age in Canada.Requires a valid driver's license and compliance with the Company's Driver Qualification Policy, including satisfactory driving record.Must be able to be DOT certified, if required in location of position (United States Only).Able to work a schedule of hours varying from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on your own and up to 300 lbs. assisted with appropriate equipment and/or another associate.Preferred QualificationsRetail/customer service management experience.High School diploma, GED or equivalent.High energy with the ability to effectively perform all functions of the store.Proper telephone etiquette.Maintain a professional appearance.About Aaron's At Aaron's, we offer sales and lease-to-ownership of specialty items including furniture, consumer electronics, home appliances, and accessories throughout the United States and Canada.
