Registered Nurse - Night shift

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and providing high-quality nursing care in long-term care environments. Your expertise in critical care, medication administration, and patient assessment will be essential in delivering optimal health outcomes. Night shift 7pm-7am

*Responsibilities*

* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Monitor and document patients' vital signs and medical histories accurately.
* Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and treatment options.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
* Perform procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, suturing, and phlebotomy.
* Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and communication.
* Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
* Participate in discharge planning and case management for patients transitioning to home or community care.
* Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing.

*Experience*
Candidates should possess a combination of the following skills and experiences:

* Proficiency with EMR systems such as PCC .
* Familiarity with specialties such as, geriatrics, or hospice & palliative medicine.
* Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and CPT coding.
* Background in long-term care, assisted living, or home health environments.
* Experience administering injections, conducting physical examinations, and performing diagnostic evaluations.
* Understanding of acute pain management techniques and behavioral health practices.
