Plant IV Final Finish Setup Tech will: Setup, detect, and adjust and correct equipment using electrical, mechanical and pneumatic knowledge, of TUO, bouncers, sheet of light and geometry. Make all necessary setups and adjustments following company standards. Observe and make necessary machinery adjustments to assure continuous operations. Supervise the first tire/tires run following a setup or adjustments and approve for production. React quickly to equipment downtime or other extraordinary condition, and must notify supervision whenever such conditions occur. Responsible for ensuring correct entry and recording of their labor time. Perform all work indicated, required, or assigned by supervision related to high machine efficiency and high quality production. Follow standard practices and instructions with a high degree of accuracy. Perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor or Department Manager. Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored. NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma/GED and 1 year Continental Manufacturing experience or 2 years mechanical experience. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing experience or Associate’s Degree. Environment Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes. New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes evenings and weekends. The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. Majority of work completed in a high heat environment. The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided. Salary The starting annual salary for this role is $64,613 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
