In this role, you will support a variety of image-guided procedures, working side-by-side with skilled interventional radiologists, nurses, and fellow technologists. You will use advanced fluoroscopic and imaging equipment to perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, ensuring high-quality images and safe, efficient procedures. A typical day includes preparing procedure rooms, verifying orders, setting up supplies, assisting with patient positioning, monitoring patients during procedures, and documenting imaging and clinical details in the electronic medical record.

Core responsibilities include performing and assisting with interventional procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols, maintaining strict sterile technique, following radiation safety standards, and ensuring proper documentation of all exams. You will participate in pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care, including patient identification, procedure explanation, and monitoring of patient status. You will collaborate closely with the care team to optimize workflow, support timely case turnover, and contribute to a positive patient and family experience. You will work primarily daytime hours, with participation in the on-call rotation as required.

On-call shifts support urgent and emergent interventional cases, requiring timely response and the ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical priorities.
