Essential PositionFunctions/Responsibilities Provides technical services to vehicles andequipment. Readsjob orderandobservesandlistenstovehiclesin operationto resolvemalfunctionsand plan work procedures. Follows checklists to ensure all critical parts areexamined. Coordinateswithwarrantyadministratorstoensuremaximumprofitrecapture,includingansweringquestionsafterrepairandtaggingwarrantypartsforreturn. Adherestomanufacturer'spoliciesandproceduresastheyrelatetolaboroperations,time,andrepair order documentation. Maintainsdesignatedworkspaceinanorganizedandcleanmanner. Completesallworkaccording totheapplicablesafety requirementsandpublishedprocedures. Properlycompletes all work assigned by service manager/advisor and test drives vehiclesto verify that issues are fixed. Participatesin technicaltraining assignedbymanagement. Ensures customervehiclesare returnedat thesamelevelofcleanlinesspriorto beingserviced. Makeseveryefforttoachieveproductionobjectivessetbymanagement. Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks and adjustsas needed Developsandmaintainsfriendlyandcourteousrelationshipswithcustomers,visitors,andcoworkers QualificationsEducation & EssentialQualifications: High SchoolDiplomaor GED 1+years Fleet or Dealership experience Possess own tools Skills: Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills Customer service skills to ensure friendly and professional interactions withcustomers Key Attributes/Characteristics: Honest,dependable,organized&resourceful Mustbeself-motivatedand professional Dedicationtoteamworkandcollaboration Musthavethedesire toprovidestrongcustomerservice Independentthinking PreferredQualifications: ASEcertification CDLcertification PhysicalDemands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
