School Psychologist – Full-Time Contract Position
Chattanooga, TN Area

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time school-based contract opportunity in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area for the upcoming school year. We are seeking qualified professionals who are dedicated to supporting students’ academic, emotional, behavioral, and social development in an educational setting.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet all local and state certification and licensure requirements. Previous experience working with special education students and collaborating with families is highly preferred.

Position Details:

Full-time contract position
School-based assignment
New school year opportunity
Potential renewal opportunities based on performance while on contract

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and student assessments
Interpret assessment results and prepare detailed reports
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Develop recommendations for academic, behavioral, and emotional interventions
Support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
Provide consultation services to school staff and families
Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral support planning
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines

Qualifications:

Active Tennessee School Psychologist certification/licensure
Must meet all local and state regulatory requirements
Prior school-based experience preferred
Experience working with special education populations strongly preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
