JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Active Florida Medical License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
• Active DEA
• Certifications: As Required by Facility
• Experience: Pediatric Ophthalmology Experience Required
• Other Qualifications: Experience with Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) Evaluation and Treatment Preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide pediatric ophthalmology coverage for vacation relief
• Conduct outpatient clinic services on Tuesdays
• Perform NICU rounds for ROP screening and evaluation on Wednesdays
• Provide treatment and follow-up care for ROP patients as needed
• Collaborate with NICU, Neonatology, and Pediatric teams
• Document patient care according to facility standards
• Participate in orientation and required compliance activities prior to first shift
