Quality Control Inspector – Manufacturing

Location: Houston, TX 77075
Pay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour, DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join a manufacturing team in Houston, TX. The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for inspecting products and materials throughout the manufacturing process to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards. The ideal candidate will have previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process products, and finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Identify defects, discrepancies, and non-conforming products.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Communicate quality issues to production and management teams.
• Assist with investigating quality issues and identifying potential root causes.
• Ensure products meet established specifications and customer requirements.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous Quality Control or Quality Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive inspection tasks throughout the workday.
