As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will drive technical rigor, coordinate across teams, mentor engineers, and execute program tasks to deliver reliable solutions to warfighters. What You Will Do Update, maintain, and improve requirements documents. Develop system architecture and model using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, and Cameo. Conduct trade studies based on Concept of Operations. Collaborate with engineers of all disciplines to integrate hardware and software into tactical systems. Perform test planning and develop implementation plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation. Execute testing in simulated and real‑world environments; analyze results for requirement compliance. Integrate systems through platform integration, flight test, qualification, and design verification execution. Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging. Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of test data to verify requirements. Travel as needed to support mission execution at various locations, including vendor facilities and customer sites. Qualifications You Must Have Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in systems requirements, integration, or test. Experience with systems requirements documents and system integration. Experience with generating technical documentation such as trade studies, test plans, and technical reports. Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering and associated tools. Experience with data analysis and presenting analytical and technical material. Experience interfacing with internal and external customers. Qualifications We Prefer Self‑starter who can take on tasks with limited guidance. Experience in the defense industry, specifically with military systems and procedures. Understanding of the Systems Engineering product cycle. Experience in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field supporting integration and/or verification. Experience leading or mentoring a team of engineers. Security Clearance Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret) is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required to qualify for a security clearance.
