Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-level care in the NICU, PICU, and CVICU for pediatric patients. This role requires a dedicated professional with significant experience in pediatric care and the ability to manage respiratory therapies effectively.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care to patients in NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings.
• Perform assessments and monitor patient responses to respiratory treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to various NICU locations as needed, which may include Akron and Fairview.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.

Qualifications

• Active RRT license in Ohio is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in pediatric respiratory care is required.
• Current certifications: NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS.
• Experience in high-level NICU settings is essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Work Schedule

This position offers flexible scheduling options, including 3x12 or 4x12 shifts. Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 are required.

Additional Requirements

• Undergo two fingerprinting procedures: one onsite for facility requirements prior to starting, and another through the agency.
• All work history, including previous positions, must be accurately documented in the submitted profile.
• All necessary certification copies must be provided at the time of application submission.
• Requests for time off and scheduling preferences should be communicated during both submission and the interview process.
