What You’ll Do Provide obstetrics and gynecology clinical care in outpatient and hospital settings Support women’s health needs, including prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological services Assist with urgent patient matters during clinic hours and provide call coverage for deliveries Collaborate with nursing staff, nurse practitioners, and hospital providers Manage approximately 15-20 patient visits daily Participate in hospital deliveries, typically 30-40 per month (NICU patients transferred to specialized centers) Ensure compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards What You Need Iowa medical license or IMLC credential -Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology or equivalent Able to work rotating shifts and be on-call for deliveries Strong patient communication and clinical skills Preferred: Prior experience in OB-GYN practice and hospital settings About the Assignment This locum role supports a busy OB-GYN practice at a leading facility in Ottumwa, Iowa.
