As a Security Officer Patrol in Knoxville, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic technology and telecommunications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site policies, and assist with visitor processing and/or badge-related procedures.
- Support day-to-day operations by communicating professionally with employees, guests, and vendors, while following post orders and reporting maintenance, life-related, and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
