Medical Technologist - Urgent Requirement

Job Description Location: Bradenton, FL Position Type: Full-Time Shift - Full-timeNights and Evening (rotating weekends) Compensation- $27.09 - $37.92/ Hour Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to perform both routine and urgent laboratory testing in a hospital setting. The role requires strong technical expertise, independent judgment, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accurate and timely test results. Key Responsibilities Perform stat and routine clinical laboratory testing across multiple disciplines including Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology Follow established procedures and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance and accuracy Apply laboratory science knowledge and independent judgment to deliver reliable test results Maintain required licensure, certifications, and competency in assigned laboratory areas Assist with specimen collection, processing, and referral testing as needed Support department goals related to quality, patient safety, compliance, and operational efficiency Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow Work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision Requirements National certification as a Medical Technologist ( ASCP preferred ) Florida State Licensure as a Medical Technologist required (minimum in 3 lab areas; all areas preferred) Associate’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field (Bachelor’s preferred) Minimum 3 years of hospital laboratory experience preferred Blood Bank experience preferred Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Comfortable working independently and covering multiple lab areas Excellent teamwork and communication skills Company Description LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
