Position Overview: The Class A Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient loading, transportation, and unloading of fuel products. This role requires a strong focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service. Key Responsibilities: Load and unload fuel using the truck’s transfer pump. Conduct and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain accurate and up-to-date driving logs in compliance with DOT regulations. Follow all applicable federal, state, local, and company safety regulations. Deliver product to customer sites including convenience stores, oilfields, trucking companies, railroad yards, drilling rigs, and more. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and requirements. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor. Qualifications: Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and X (Hazmat) endorsements. Minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience, with at least 1 year driving a tanker. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be at least 23 years of age. Ability to lift 50+ lbs, and work extended hours both indoors and outdoors. Willingness to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays. Current and valid DOT medical card. Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past 3 years). Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices. Must pass background check and drug screening.
