We are currently seeking a high-energy Outside Sales Representative to dominate a territory experiencing an explosion in residential, commercial, and retail development. Why This Territory? We are strategically located in a "Gold Zone" for signage and visual communications. Your target market includes:
- Logistics & Warehousing: One of the highest concentrations of industrial hubs in the region.
- New Retail Development: A constant stream of new storefronts needing brand-new signage packages.
- Commercial/Residential Growth: Unprecedented construction activity providing endless B2B opportunities.
This is a consultative, hunter-style sales role. You won't just be selling signs; you'll be selling brand solutions. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle; from aggressive lead generation and cold calling to project management and closing the deal. Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Performance-Based Commission Structure (Uncapped Earning Potential).
Your Responsibilities
- Proactive Prospecting: Execute a daily "drill down" strategy using face-to-face cold calling, telephone canvassing, and networking to build a robust pipeline.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct site visits to diagnose client needs and recommend custom visual solutions that meet Brand Standards.
- Strategic Planning: Develop an annual sales plan to consistently meet or exceed monthly quotas.
- Project Management: Oversee projects from initial estimate and artwork approval to final collection, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.
- Networking: Act as the face of FASTSIGNS at trade shows, chamber events, and referral groups.
We prefer signage experience, but we prioritize proven sales results. If you have a track record of winning in B2B sales (even in another industry), we want to talk to you.
- The Hunter Mentality: You have documented success in cold calling, canvassing, and proactive lead generation.
- B2B Grit: At least 2+ years of outside sales experience with a focus on "share of wallet" growth.
- Business Acumen: Ability to hold high-level conversations with business owners and decision-makers.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience maintaining accurate records and managing a territory via CRM tools.
- Detail Oriented: Ability to handle pricing models, estimates, and sales contracts with precision.
