Director Of NursingSalary: $115K-$130K range per year (depending on experience)Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing:Supervises all nursing staff in the facilityDevelopment and implementation of nursing policy and procedureOverseeing the hiring and continued employment of nursing staffEnsuring there is adequate nursing staff, and that the staff's skills remain currentOverseeing nursing employee conductBeing knowledgeable of incidents at the facilityAssessing the health needs of each residentRequirements of the Director of Nursing:Must have current OH RN licenseMust have a minimum of three years experience as a Director of Nursing in long term careMust have long term care experienceProven management & leadership skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong clinical background and knowledge
