Number of Beds: 22 (with vertical space for additional patients) Staffing: Approximately 50 staff members Patient Ratios: 1:4 Type of Equipment: Phillips & GE Monitors, Level 1 Rapid Infuser EMR: Meditech (EDM) Typical Hiring Profile We are seeking candidates with the following skills and qualifications: Required Skills: Strong IV skills for both adult and pediatric patients Excellent communication abilities Preferred Skills: Experience with trauma care Certification in TNCC Proficiency in Meditech Typical Procedures Performed The following procedures are frequently conducted in the unit: Cardioversion Central line placements Management of cardiac arrests IV insertions and EKGs Pacemaker interrogation Code Stroke protocol Code Sepsis protocol Suture and abscess setup Best Personality Fit The ideal candidate will possess the following traits: A team player attitude Energetic and professional demeanor Respectful interaction with patients and team members Accountability for self and others Patient-centered focus Excellent attendance record Ability to adapt quickly to change Required Certifications BLS ACLS PALS CPI Floating Areas There may be opportunities to float to nearby facilities, located approximately 15 minutes away. Dress Code The required attire includes a teal top and black or teal pants. Work Schedule Participation in weekend shifts is required, with every other weekend plus at least one Friday and one Monday in a four-week schedule. There is no on-call requirement.
