Policy Development: Develops and updates compliance policies and procedures to align with changing regulatory requirements and best practices. Audit Management: Conducts regular compliance audits and assessments, identifying and addressing areas of nonconformance. Cross Team Collaboration: Partners with engineering, legal, and operational teams to integrate compliance considerations into project planning and execution. Training and Support: Provides guidance and training to engineering teams on compliance requirements and best practices to foster a culture of compliance. Key Skills: Regulatory Compliance: Expertise in understanding and implementing industry specific compliance standards and regulations. Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of relevant technologies and their application within compliance frameworks. Project Management: Skilled in leading compliance projects from initiation through completion with minimal guidance. Analytical Problem Solving: Proficient in diagnosing complex compliance issues and developing effective solutions based on comprehensive data analysis. Effective Communication: Ability to convey medium complexity compliance information clearly to diverse stakeholders and build consensus. Strategic Planning: Skilled in developing and executing compliance strategies that align with organizational goals and market differentiators. Risk Assessment: Expertise in identifying and evaluating potential compliance risks and implementing mitigation strategies. Cross functional Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and subject matter experts to achieve compliance objectives. Process Optimization: Proficient in analyzing and improving compliance processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness. Leadership: Capability to act as a resource for less experienced colleagues and influence internal networks to drive compliance initiatives. Successful candidates typically have: 4 Year Bachelors BS degree AND 4+ years equivalent experience This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
