Accounting Specialist

Insight Global is seeking an Accounting Specialist for our client, a growing healthcare real estate company, based in Pensacola, FL. This person will primarily be responsible for AP/AR, vendor management, and managing the rent email inbox for payment remittance for 80+ properties. He/She will maintain the monthly cash dashboard (in conjunction with Accounting Supervisor), and pull monthly bank statements and save them in appropriate folders.

Responsibilities/Duties
Accounts Payable:
- AP email box maintenance and distribution for operating company and real estate entities
- Manage Yardi Full Service
- Vendor Maintenance (enter all new vendors, upload new COIs to current vendors, etc.).
- Responsible for ensuring all AP for operating company and real estate entities have been processed.


Accounts Receivable:
- Manage rent email inbox for payment remittance
- Enter all receipts, maintain A/R (apply prepaids, etc.) and follow-up on outstanding AR
- Responsible for all communication with tenants relating to outstanding AR
- Regular AR review with accounting and asset management teams

Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
- Proficient with MS Office and QuickBooks
- Knowledge of Accounting Principles and General Office Practices


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Preferred Bachelors or Associates degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Property Accounting experience
- Experience with Yardi or a similar software
