Job Title

Registered Nurse – NICU (Neonatal ICU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill newborns, implementing individualized care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status and interventions

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a Neonatal Level III ICU setting
• Active BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required — must be in hand at time of submission; pending certifications will not be accepted
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or a Compact State RN license required — must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty from an assignment worked in the past 12 months is required (co-worker references will not be accepted)
• No open background case findings; facility does not accept any license hits
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience within a single NICU location preferred, though combined experience across locations may be considered
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Level III NICU environment
