Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

A busy surgical program in Jupiter, Florida is seeking an experienced Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide coverage in a collaborative anesthesia care team. This is an excellent opportunity to work a diverse case mix with a predictable schedule while enjoying Florida's beautiful Treasure Coast.

Position Highlights

• Flexible scheduling with either:
• 4 x 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM), or
• 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Maximum of 40 hours per week
• Must be available to work Monday and/or Friday
• Weekend Call: Approximately one weekend per month
• Call Required

Case Mix

Provide anesthesia for a wide variety of surgical specialties, including:

• General Surgery
• Orthopedic Surgery
• Gastroenterology
• Robotic Surgery
• Obstetrics (C-section experience required; epidural skills helpful but not required)
• Endoscopy
• Radiology
• Ophthalmology
• Plastic Surgery
• ENT
• Neurosurgery

There is no trauma. CRNAs may occasionally perform their own peripheral nerve blocks. Cardiac anesthesia experience is a plus but is not required.

Qualifications

• Current NBCRNA certification
• Board Certified CRNA
• Active Florida CRNA license
• Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Strong experience with general surgical anesthesia; OB experience including C-sections required
