Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients in an Operating Room setting across all phases of surgical care
• Participate in on-call rotation with a 30-minute response time required
• Work weekends and holidays as needed, including coverage for major holidays per facility requirements
• Float to other units as needed to support staffing demands
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• May provide care to COVID-positive patients in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license — no license encumbrances accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required — AHA or ARC only
• EPIC electronic health records experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong familiarity with perioperative workflows and surgical team collaboration
• Experience working in high-acuity or fast-paced surgical environments
• Demonstrated ability to manage on-call responsibilities effectively
