Pharmacist

Insight Global is looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join a close-door pharmacy in Akron, OH supporting post acute care for Summa hospital patients. In this role, the Pharmacist will oversee compounding activities, clinical monitoring of all therapeutics (infusion antibiotics, chemo, TPN), and communicating with hospital nursing and provider staff.

Because this role is in a clean room involving sterile compound infusions, this Pharmacist should come from a highly clinical environment, ideally directly from a clinic/hospital or closely-aligned retail pharmacy setting to be successful in this role.


There are 3 Pharmacists on the team currently with plans to expand the team to 5 as soon as possible.


The schedule for this role is fully onsite in Akron, OH 5 days per week, 9am-5pm EST. There are 3-week weekend rotations and a rotating, low-volume on call structure (with additional compensation during these times). As the staff grows, the rotations will become less frequent.

This is a full-time, permanent role with competitive salary, on-call bonus pay, benefits, and PTO.

Required Skills & Experience
- Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Ohio
- Past clinical experience (clinic or hospital) or recent experience in clinical rotations


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Prior experience with sterile compounding, infusions, or other post acute care therapeutics
