As a Senior Associate, Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in transforming data into meaningful insights that support every area of the business. Using modern analytics, reporting, and AI-powered tools, you'll help drive smarter decisions and operational success.Duties and responsibilitiesBuild new, informative dashboards and enhance existing dashboardsEnhance reporting capabilities by incorporating forecasting, trend analysis, and forward-looking performance indicators where applicablePartner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business questions into analytical solutions, and ensure reporting outputs are actionable and aligned with business objectivesReconcile data from source to reporting presentation layerAnalyze company metrics, both methodologies and calculations, and produce recommendations for management to standardize where neededBecome SME on current and future data infrastructuresPerform ad hoc data and reporting analysesDevelop proposals for fully automated data and reporting solutions and present to management/stakeholdersSupport data ownership and governance activities for the Data & Analytics team, including data definition alignment, data quality rule creation, documentation, and issue resolution for reporting assetsSupport the ongoing Enterprise Data Warehouse development effort, inclusive of technical requirements analysis and user acceptance testing, as neededPresent convincing arguments to improve business processes backed by sound data and analytical methodsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics/Statistics, Data Science, Finance/Economics or equivalent work experienceProven business experience in a reporting or analytics role for at least 5 yearsExperience building reports using modern Business Intelligence toolsExperience using AI-enabled productivity or analytics tools to improve reporting, documentation, automation, or analytical workflows, inclusive of building skills, markdown files, and agentsFluency in SQLFinancial Services experiencePreferred QualificationsMaster’s Degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, or StatisticsExperience with SnowflakeConsumer finance experienceAdvanced coding experience in using programming languages like Python, R, Spark, and ScalaExperience using SigmaCritical Competencies Experience working with complex data setsUnderstanding of loan amortization methods and schedulesNaturally curious, challenges status quoKeen attention to detail, ability to resolve issues through root cause analysisAbility to manage multiple, competing prioritiesExcellent communication skills across various levels of the organizationSelf-directed, demonstrated ability to effectively work remotelyWorking conditionsRegular day job.
