Position Information Position Number: EPTF50 Working Title: Adjunct / Part-Time Faculty Employment Type: Temporary - Part-time Hours per week: Varies Pay Rate: Varies Faculty teaching undergraduate courses: doctorate or master’s degree in the teaching discipline or master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Faculty teaching graduate courses: earned doctorate / terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline. UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the highest earned degree in the discipline. Duties and Responsibilities Develop and/or update course syllabus. Prepare lectures, projects, or other student assignments. Meet all designated class periods. Maintain regularly scheduled office hours. Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner. Submit completed mid‑semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations.
