Children’s Learning Connection offers speech, occupational, physical, and ABA therapies for children, infants and families dealing with developmental delays, speech and language disorders, sensory processing disorders, motor disorders, social thinking deficits, feeding disorders, behavior challenges, and ASD. Job Description Children’s Learning Connection (CLC) of Orange County, CA offers speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and ABA therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disorders. Supportive management and excellent teamwork environment. Part-Time Physical Therapist needed to be responsible for pediatric assessments, consultations, and therapies in the clinic setting. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, with heavy emphasis on collaborative care. Large Early Intervention caseload. Serving Orange County children and families with therapy services for over 15 years! Responsibilities Assess, consult, plan and conduct treatment for pediatric clients and their families Continuously evaluate client needs, plan and problem solve in order to help each client reach his or her potential Communicate and collaborate with other professionals, paraprofessionals, and parents in order to provide an effective program Supervise appropriate staff effectively within scope of practice (e.g., DSPs) Document all consultation and treatment sessions on a daily basis, as well as provide appropriate documentation to interdisciplinary team Provide assessment, progress and discharge reports in a timely manner Maintain client files and treatment logs in an organized manner to include as well as provide appropriate documentation to interdisciplinary team Communicate with Directors regarding any changes in status, problems, or intent to change any aspect of services already in place; and, to discuss same with Directors prior to discussing with client’s family or referral source Attend and participate in meetings as required (e.g., Clinical staff meetings, team meetings, IEP/IFSP meetings). Develop instructional materials, and evaluate commercially produced materials for use in treatment Keep current on latest developments in field of physical therapy by attending professional seminars, reading current literature, and participating in professional organizations. Plan, coordinate and conduct in-service trainings for staff Keep careful record of billable hours which will require parent signature Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Education/Training : Master’s Degree or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy Certifications/Licenses : Valid CA PT license Experience : 2-5 years of experience in pediatrics Additional Requirements : Valid CA license and/or certification Must pass a background and reference check Additional Information Excellent benefits package including medical, dental, life and 401K Children's Learning Connection supports a diverse workforce and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
