Job Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test high performance, AV solutions for government customers. Generate custom audiovisual system designs using Crestron technologies. Support customer stakeholder meetings to collect and document or validate system requirements. Research, identify, and recommend technology options, to solve customer issues. Support onsite deployment of AV systems and system configuration phases. Coordinate with customer facilities teams and other onsite sub-contractors and vendors during systems installation as required. Support the development of end-user training materials and operations and maintenance plans. Perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations. Develop expertise in the industry through continuing training, certifications, and continued review of trade publications. Required Skills: Level 2: 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in modern programming and scripting languages such as C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, and Visual Basic. Experience in system integration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex A/V systems. Hands-on experience with network programming. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with systems engineering principles and integration best practices. Desired Skills: Level 3: 3+ years of related systems design and integration experience, or equivalent education and experience. Level 4: 5+ years of related systems design and integration experience, or equivalent education and experience. Experience with Crestron programming and system environments using SIMPL+ or C#. Experience translating customer requirements into software designs. Knowledge of software systems configuration management. Experience with object orientated programming. Experience with HTML/web programming (for user interface design). Crestron Gold level programming Certification or higher. Experience working with local and remote teams.
