This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day shifts: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). The traveler may rotate between day and night shifts as needed to meet operational needs.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele RN will provide nursing care for the medical-surgical telemetries patient population, with the potential to float to other units as necessary. The RN will be responsible for monitoring, assessment, and interventions related to patients in these settings.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting observations and interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and self-care strategies.
• Adhere to safety and performance standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele health is required, with recent travel experience acceptable.
• Active Ohio RN license or a compact state license is required at the time of submission.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Two professional references from a manager or supervisor in the healthcare specialty area are required.
