Compensation: $45-$55

About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality services to students in an educational environment. This is a onsite role, independent contractor (W-2) position offering flexibility and autonomy while supporting student success in communication and learning.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals while maintaining compliance with state and federal special education regulations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators and families to support student success
• Assess student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and use data to inform instructional decisions
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes student growth and independence

Qualifications:

• Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential
• Experience in Resource (RSP), Inclusion, or Special Day Class (SDC) settings preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Familiarity with IEP processes and educational compliance requirements
