ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Preschool Special Education Teacher for a self-contained classroom in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an educator with preschool experience who is passionate about supporting young learners with disabilities through individualized instruction, early intervention, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time

• 40 hours per week

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

• Students attend Monday–Thursday, with morning and afternoon sessions

Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate required

• Previous preschool teaching experience required

• Experience working with students with disabilities in a self-contained classroom preferred

• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills

• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and special education compliance

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals and Arizona state standards

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities tailored to preschool students’ individual needs

• Support students’ communication, social-emotional development, early academics, and functional skills

• Implement positive behavior supports and individualized learning strategies

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

• Collaborate with families, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and school staff

• Create a structured, safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment

• Support students’ school readiness, independence, and developmental growth

Assignment Details:

• Preschool Self-Contained Special Education Classroom

• Morning and afternoon student sessions

• Approximately 12 students in each session

• Students attend Monday–Thursday
