Director, Federal Government Affairs

Director-level position leading federal government affairs strategy and stakeholder engagement for a biopharmaceutical company. Responsibilities include developing advocacy plans, managing relationships with lawmakers and regulators, and advising internal leadership on policy implications affecting the industry.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic federal advocacy plans for patient access and innovation priorities
Lead engagement with legislators, administration officials, and regulators to shape policy outcomes
Monitor policy developments and provide strategic guidance to internal stakeholders
Partner with policy leads to align federal implications with business objectives
Support advocacy materials development including talking points and leadership memoranda

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in public policy, law, political science, or related field
Minimum 10 years in Congress, regulatory/policy advocacy, or government relations
Strong understanding of government affairs, public policy, and healthcare landscape
Knowledge of biopharmaceutical sector policies and health care system
Excellent communication and presentation skills for complex policy issues
Proven strategy and execution skills with collaborative track record

Compensation: $216,100 - $360,200 base
