About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Business Development in the Public Sector. This role is pivotal in driving opportunities within the Federal and State Government accounts, with a focus on optimizing wallet share and identifying new strategic customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading business development, including account growth, customer acquisition, and expansion. Collaboration with the company's various business units is essential to define business requirements, guide the development of new solutions, and seek cross-selling opportunities. The role demands a sale-driven mindset, a results-oriented approach, and the ability to hold senior-level dialogues to create and develop business opportunities. Candidates for this role should be team players, motivated by the vision of the company, and possess a Master's degree or above in business, engineering, or IT. An MBA in Sales & Marketing is an added advantage. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in senior management, be proficient in digital tools, particularly CRM, and demonstrate excellent leadership skills. Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work in an international business environment are also key attributes. The role is measured by the additional new revenue streams generated and requires a strategic, proactive, and collaborative approach to business development.
