This well-established hospital is a Level 3 trauma center serving the Eureka and surrounding Northern California communities, providing comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services. The facility offers a supportive clinical environment with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days and strong organizational backing for its medical staff.

Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology


Job Details:

• Permanent placement opportunity providing comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services with approximately 30 patient encounters per shift
• Manage both low and high risk pregnancies with full delivery services
• Perform routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps deliveries
• Provide decision-making for cesarean sections along with preferred experience in complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
• Conduct FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Perform OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted anatomic ultrasounds
• Provide repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Perform office and minor gynecology procedures including IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
• Provide comprehensive surgical gynecology services including open and laparoscopic procedures
• Perform operative/major gynecological procedures including ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
• Board certification required with active ACLS and BLS certifications
• No specific state license requirement to apply
