Assignment Details Contract Length: 4 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Requirements - Certifications: Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist or eligibility to take the NBRC written exam, Vermont state licensure as a respiratory care practitioner, ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS. - Minimum Years of Clinical Experience: 2 years - Minimum Years of Experience in Specialty: 2 years - Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required. - NRP required upon submission. - NICU experience within the last year is required.
Roles & Responsibilities - Provide respiratory therapy treatments in various clinical settings. - Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status. - Operate ventilators and other respiratory equipment. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans. - Educate patients and families regarding respiratory issues and care. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Compliance / Notes - Public transportation is not accessible; reliable transportation is recommended. - Dress Code: Scrubs; closed-toe and comfortable shoes required. - Floating between units may be required: M/S, ED, Birthing Center. - Orientation duration is to be determined.
