Job Overview:
Tejas Air Systems is seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth.

Duties:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including heating units, air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils and filters

• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions

• Repair or replace defective parts or components

• Test system performance using specialized tools and equipment

• Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations

• Communicate unit/equipment issues to manager and HVAC clients

• Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork daily, documenting in detail all work performed and/or installed as well as all time associated with calls/projects

Qualifications:

• Two years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, maintenance and troubleshooting

• Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record

• EPA certification

• Minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent); Associates degree from accredited technical school in the HVAC program preferred

• Knowledge of commercial mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC preferred

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret diagrams, plans and manuals

• Well groomed, neat in appearance

• Observe and abide by all Company procedures and safety rules

• Ability to work and interact with others in a positive manner
