Job Description

Our client provides a complete range of tax, assurance, and consulting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, with a focus on estate and business succession planning, income tax reduction strategies, and complex multi-entity structures for high-net-worth individuals and privately held businesses. They are searching for a Senior Audit Associate to join their Houston, TX location.


The Senior Audit Associate will be involved in providing assurance services to our clients. They will be responsible for the execution of the risk-based audit approach and leading the audit team during fieldwork. In addition, the Senior Audit Associate will be involved in non-assurance services with our clients and will be responsible for providing timely training and feedback to lower-level associates.


Requirements:

• Must have CPA licenses or CPA eligible who is actively studying for exams.
• Must have 4-5 years of public account auditing experience.
• Must have experience with financial statement preparation.
• Greater than basic knowledge of both GAAP and GAAS rules and standards.
• Greater than basic knowledge of financial reporting, transaction cycles and business processes.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills. Will be required to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
• Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience supervising multiple individuals.
