Operating Room - Surgical Technologist

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: • 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • Travel experience is required. Requirements: • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System. Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Previous employees may be considered only as one-off exceptions with St. Luke’s Health System approval. - Must sign offer within 24 hours - Must receive written notice from clinician that housing has been researched, approve of pay package, committed and understand assignment, and will sign the offer within 24 hours. Unit Details: - Cases include ortho total joints, sports med, hands and trauma, general, gyn, C-sections, and endoscopy. - All OR personnel are required to help clean and turn over ORs along with the orderly team. - Uses TDOC to track instruments, and providers use ProVation for endoscopy. Shift & Scheduling: - Mon-Fri; shift times may adjust as needed. - Call starts at 1530 Mon-Fri until 0700 next morning; weekends/holidays 24hr each day (0700-0700). Typically 1 night per week or 4 weeknights per month and 1 full weekend per month (Fri-Sun). Holiday call may be assigned. Must remain within 30 minutes of the hospital while on-call.
