Duties include but not limited to: Prepare patients for treatments, take records, impressions, or x-rays, select and set up instruments & equipment as needed, assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry to name a few. **To be considered for this position you must be X-ray certified in the state of FL with hands on dental assisting experience.**We are looking for a candidate to travel to our sister offices: Towncare Dental Associates of Homestead, Dental Center of Kendall & Miami Beach Dental Center. **Mileage reimbursement included!** **Position Overview:**As a **Dental Assistant** you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Apply today to join our mission-driven team!*## Responsibilities* Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.* Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.* Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.* Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)* Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.## Qualifications**Qualifications:*** Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant programor* Six months on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)* X-Ray certification* Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended* High school diploma or equivalent* Must be willing to travel **(travel reimbursement included)****Dental Assistant** are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law. **Legal Disclaimer:** *We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
