If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact through your work and contributing to a mission of compassionate care, we invite you to apply today and join our Mercy family.ResponsibilitiesThe Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary health care team to provide comprehensive care for our patients.The Practitioner will focus on disease education and management, improving quality of patient care and patient outcomes, expanding access to care, and assisting with care coordination.The Practitioner will coordinate the care of patients, communicate effectively, and collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals.The Practitioner will work on an as needed basis, which may include evenings and weekends.Will accept PA or NP candidates.RequirementsEducation and Work Experience:Preferred minimum of 1 year of current clinical experienceMust possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.Possess effective communication and interpersonal skillsHave the ability to work independentlyHave the ability to function as a member of a multidisciplinary team, handling a variety of tasks and dutiesMust be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.Must demonstrate excellent problem-solving skillsMust handle confidential material with sensitivity, maturity, and discretionHave competency with electronic medical record system and knowledge using clinical applicationsExperience in palliative care and pain management preferredLicense and Certifications Requirements:Must have completed a certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner programMust have updated Maryland license: Maryland PA License or Maryland NP CertificationMin USD $41.90/Hr.Max USD $75.42/Hr.Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices.
